Lenten Insights: A Community Reflection
As we enter into Holy Week, it's a time for introspection to reflect on what God has done in our hearts over the past 40 days.
Reflecting after Lent allows us to integrate the insights gained and lessons learned moving into the rest of the liturgical year. It provides an opportunity to make sense of the experiences encountered during Lent and to discern how they can continue to shape our faith journey.
In the midst of Holy Week, we invite you to pause and ponder the following questions and share your reflections with us. Grab a journal, say a prayer, and get ready!
How has your Lenten journey been? What challenges have you faced, and what blessings have you experienced?
In what ways were you initially striving to deepen your relationship with God during this season of Lent?
Reflect on a specific aspect of your life where you felt called to grow spiritually. Did you do it, and what steps can you take to nurture this growth moving forward?
How can you incorporate acts of kindness and compassion into your daily routine?
Is there anyone you chose to forgive, or chose to seek forgiveness from?
Consider how you simplified your life and detached from worldly distractions during Lent. What practices or habits can you continue to foster a spirit of simplicity?
Did Jesus' sacrifice on the cross inspire you to embrace sacrificial love in your own life?
As Easter approaches, reflect on the hope and joy that come from Christ's resurrection. How can you carry this message of hope into your interactions with others?
Most importantly, do you feel closer to God now than when Lent first started?
